It gives us great pleasure that you are interested in the association and its activities. On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of our organization,  a new interim committee was put in place. The new committee is chaired Ms Murebwayire Jeanne D'arc Sharazi (For contact Follow the contact menu on the left). The new committee will mainly act as a task force for the Nyakatsi project until a new committee and President are elected.

Through this website, we will keep you updated about who we are, our plans, our activities, and, most of all, about our beloved country Rwanda.

Rwandan Diaspora: 'Come and See'

The Diaspora General Directorate at the Ministry of foreign affaires organized an event program called "come and see". The program ran from 17th December to 31th December in Rwanda. Over 110 Rwandans living abroad in over 70 countries were invited for the event. The program happened also at the same time as the 2 days National Dialog meeting that was presided by the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame.

NEC's meeting with the Rwandan Diaspora in Norway at Clarion Hotel

 Over 60 Rwandans attendant the meeting at Clarion Hotel in Oslo, on Sunday, 2nd May, 2010 where the Rwandan National Electoral commission (NEC) sent two of its commissioners to inform the Rwandan diaspora about the electoral process. There were accompanied by Hr. excellency the Ambassador of Rwanda in Nordic countries, Mrs Jacqueline Mukangira.

Greatlakes' Women's day celebration

A successful evening celebrating women of Greatlakes region. More than 100 Rwandans, Burundians, and Congolese gathered in Oslo last Friday, March 12th to celebrate the women's day. The evening was filled with all sorts of entertainments among which a fashion show, dances, music, food and drinks---to say the least.

The organizers wishes to thank you for your support and for making that evening a success.
